The "San Lorenzo" Archaeological Museum is set within a 13th-century church that still preserves the traces of earlier religious buildings, offering a unique "museum within a museum" experience. Here, Roman Cremona is brought back to life through an exhibition of over 500 artifacts.
The itinerary explores Public Spaces, featuring the monumental remains of a large-scale building, potentially a temple or Cremona’s Roman theater, and Private Life, showcasing the refined world of wealthy domus through splendid mosaics, delicate frescoes, and everyday objects. The tour concludes with the Necropolis, displaying funeral monuments and grave goods. Don't miss the immersive 3D headset experience, allowing you to virtually walk through the reconstructed rooms of the House of the Nymphaeum. The museum is fully accessible to all visitors.

Admire the monumental remains of imposing buildings and statues, alongside evidence of splendid patrician domus with their refined mosaics and frescoes. Use the "Oculus" headsets to move virtually through the reconstructed House of the Nymphaeum. The museum is fully accessible, ensuring a welcoming experience for all visitors. Tickets Admission is free every first Sunday of the month. The Oculus headset is available for a 2€ rental fee, allowing visitors to experience the virtual reconstruction of the Ninfeo Domus.
